Earlier this year, Disney introduced “Capture Your Moment” photo sessions at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Capture Your Moment is a personalized 20-minute private photo session where guests can record special moments like an engagement, anniversary, birthday, or any other special occasion.
Now, guests visiting the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California can also take advantage of this photo service. The 20-minute session costs $99 (tax included) but does not include photo downloads or theme park admission. A park reservation is also required. The photo sessions are also available only during park hours.
Although photos are not included in the price guests download their Capture Your Moment digital photos if they have one of the following Disney PhotoPass entitlements, subject to applicable restrictions:
- Disney Genie+ service
- Disney PhotoPass+ One Day
- Disney PhotoPass+ One Week
Sessions are available at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, however, all locations may not be available. Disney states that the photographer will inform guests which locations are available at the start of their session. It is important to note that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is not offered as a photo session location. Locations are subject to change, including due to inclement weather and park operations, and no refunds will be available due to any such change.
The reservation is booked with a party size of one but is valid for up to eight guests in the picture, excluding guests ages 2 and younger. Although same-day bookings may be available, reservations for Capture Your Moment – Disneyland Park are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance. A credit card is required at the time of booking. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged and forfeited if the guest cancels within one day or is a “no-show” for the reservation.
Guests should check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their reservation time at the check-in location—inside The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. Each person in the party must be present upon check-in.
Late arrivals may not be accommodated, or if accommodated, the session time will not be extended. Please be prepared to present your reservation confirmation, photo ID, and the credit card provided at the time of booking.
Disney states that guests may dress up for their photo session, however no wedding attire or clothing that drags on the ground is permitted. Guests can also choose from a selection of Disney PhotoPass props or bring their own. Attire and Guest-supplied props need to abide by Disneyland Resort Property Rules. Guests younger than 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older during the entire experience.
