Earlier this week Disney finally unveiled details on their revamped annual pass program at the Disneyland Resort, now called Magic Key.

Starting on 25 August 2021, Disney fans can now purchase a Magic Key pass and use it the same day, assuming they have a park reservation either to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure.

Disney states that this “new, guest-centric offering” will deliver choice, flexibility, and value for park admission, special access to unique experiences, valuable saving opportunities, and more. The four new options of Magic Key passes are: Dream Key ($1,399.00), Believe Key ($949.00), Enchant Key ($649.00), and Imagine Key ($399.00).

Prior to the announcement, many Disney fans and bloggers were tolling the death bell for the Disneyland Annual Pass, but after the announcement, many thought the pricing was fair for the benefits offered.
