As Disney continues previews of their newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Disney Imagineers celebrate the opening of this newest EPCOT attraction.
Zach Riddley, Portfolio Executive & Project Executive, EPCOT at Walt Disney Imagineering, posted on his Instagram account, “Congratulations to all over the years who made Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind possible. Colleagues, our families, our partners, and our mentors. This is OUR achievement. And it represents the spirit at the core of this special park.”
“EPCOT celebrates possibility. That spark of an idea that inspires us to push further, come together, and create something from dream to reality. Creation isn’t automatic. You have to work for it, and it will fight you. You have to be patient, assemble a team unified in the mission and trust them,” he continues.
“I am proud of these people, our Imagineers, and all of our extended team who believed in this dream for a brand new experience for EPCOT that is truly out of this world. We are very close to this dream being a reality for the world to experience.
EPCOT is a park about people – about us. We seek joy and purpose in connecting, belonging, creating, and celebrating those dreams [and] thoughts impossible made real by the talent and drive of all of us.
EPCOT will be forever be changed by what was created by us, together, for everyone to enjoy. To our partners @jeffvahle and @waltdisneyworld and our AMAZING Cast members, we leave this dream in your hands to make [it] real, [every day] for generations of EPCOT fans current and future. That’s something we can all be very proud of.”
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind begins Annual Passholder previews tomorrow. The attraction will open on 27 May 2022 to all guests.
