Face coverings optional for fully vaccinated guests at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

This past Saturday, Hawai’i’s Safe Travels Program officially has come to an end Vaccinated domestic travelers may now enter the state will no longer be required to complete a Safe Travels application to enter Hawai‘i. Beginning at 12:00 a.m. HST, 26 March 2022, there will be no COVID-related requirements for arriving domestic passengers. Travelers arriving in Hawai‘i directly from international airports must still comply with U.S. federal requirements. The state suggests passengers should consult with their airline.

Following the state’s requirements, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa will no longer require domestic guests to follow COVID-19-related travel requirements including requiring fully vaccinated guests to wear a face covering indoors. “Face coverings are not required for Guests outdoors, and are now optional for fully vaccinated Guests at most indoor locations when visiting Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa,” read the statement. Currently, all guests may forgo wearing a face covering while outdoors.

“We expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings when indoors,” states the website. “All Guests may be required to wear appropriate face coverings at select indoor locations.

As a reminder, the State of Hawai‘i’s Safe Travels program concluded on March 26, and passengers arriving from domestic points of origin will no longer have to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a pre-travel negative test result upon arrival. International passengers must continue to follow the travel requirements put in place by the federal government. Government requirements are subject to change, and we encourage Guests to continue to stay updated on any travel requirements leading up to their planned stay.”
