On 12 November 2019, Disney launched Disney+, an online streaming subscription service to much fanfare. Less than 24-hours after launch, the streaming service signed up more than 10 million subscribers. This past September, the service ended the quarter with over 116 million subscribers.
To celebrate their upcoming two-year anniversary, Disney will be extending special offers and perks to Disney+ subscribers.
Currently, until 11:59 p.m. PST on 14 November 2021, Disney+ is offering new and returning subscribers a special rate of $1.99 for one month. Upon redeeming this offer, subscribers will be enrolled in an auto-renewing monthly subscription of Disney+ and will be charged the then-current retail price (currently $7.99/month plus tax (where applicable) unless canceled prior to the thirty-day promotional period.
As a special treat to subscribers (and their entire party) visiting the Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or Disneyland Paris theme park for one day Disney will extend a park perk usually reserved to resort guests. On 12 November 2021, subscribers can enter either the Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort 30 minutes prior to the park opening to regular guests. Disneyland Paris park guests will enjoy 30 extra minutes after the park closes to guests. Plus, Disneyland Paris guests will also enjoy a “plussed-up” The Twilight Tower of Terror as it is illuminated in Disney+ blue.
For even more fanfare, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Park will roll out the blue carpet for guests with character moments, photo opportunities, and more. Subscribers will also enjoy complimentary Disney PhotoPass photo download(s) taken at select locations.

Disney+ Extra Magic Hour — The Disney Hits Channel on Sirius XM will celebrate Disney+ Day by theming the Extra Magic Hour to the Disney+ playlist. The Disney+ Extra Magic Hour–themed show will air two times a day from November 8 to November 12.
