Halloween has not even been over for twelve hours and Disney has announced holiday merchandise that is coming to the Disney Parks and shopDisney.com.
As Christmas decorations are starting to go up at the various Disney Resorts, Disney is giving fans a sneak peek at merchandise that they can expect in the near future. Some of it currently can be found at Disney Parks worldwide and some on shopDisney.com.
According to a post in the Disney Parks Blog, fans were given a sneak peek at Walt’s Holiday Lodge collection. “The inspiration for this new collection is Mickey Mouse and his pals celebrating the holidays at a ski castle lodge. They are featured throughout the products skiing, snowboarding, and spending time together to enjoy the holidays.” Today, they shared more “festive, wintery items that will make an excellent holiday gift this season.”
Ear headband collectors: Prepare to expand your collection with three new Minnie ear headbands: Walt’s Holiday Lodge with a festive flannel bow, a tree ear headband with a snowflake bow, and an ear headband with Mickey Mouse gingerbread cookies wearing Santa hats. They’re all coming soon to Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and shopDisney.com.
Walt’s Holiday Lodge collection also has two new Loungefly mini backpacks: red all-over print with fun nods to the delicious treats offered in the park during the holiday season (hot cocoa, marshmallow wands, and more) and a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Loungefly mini backpack that features snowbirds Mickey and Minnie cuddled up together on their way up the ski slopes. Both bags are now available at Disneyland Resort and coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort.
Little fashionistas will be ready to rock around the Christmas tree in a dazzling Mickey Mouse holiday dress, also available in an adaptive version. Also, a new Christmas fairy, Lil’ Linlin, will be making an appearance at Tokyo Disney Resort for the first time, so keep a lookout there!
