Opinion: Is Disney+ a PRIORITY over the Parks??

Earlier this month, our vlogger, OrangeGrove55 argued that it is not if, but when Disney will start incorporating Disney+ content into the theme parks. He stated that “1,000%” it will happen.

“Television and shows are no longer seen as second-tier content like they once were,” said OrangeGrove55. “We don’t live in 1985 anymore. Television, nowadays, have … these shows have massive budgets. You go to … “Game of Thrones” or “WandaVision” or “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” or “The Mandalorian” [and] these shows are treated like feature films and they is an addiction factor to them.”

Many Disney fans and bloggers have started complaining that now that Disney+ is here and is the one business that was a success inspire of the coronavirus pandemic, they are going all in on it and forgetting everything else. Some of them are basing their opinions on the fact that Universal has been making news lately with their upcoming projects, as well as the imminent opening of the VelociCoaster in Orlando this June. The rollercoaster is currently in previews to annual passholders only.

In his latest video, he expands upon this by saying that contrary to what some Disney fans think, Disney needs to make Disney+ the priority for now – over any other business sector including theme parks.

The opinion expressed are those of the vlogger and do not represent those of Disney Matters. OrangeGrove55 can be found on Twitter and YouTube.
