Disneyland Paris’s Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel goes high-tech

Disney is gradually moving their theme parks and resorts into the future. Recently the company announced they were introducing MagicMobile Pass at Walt Disney World. This new service provides all the features of the MagicBand, but through the guest’s mobile device or wearable.

For the last couple of years guests visiting the Florida resort had the capability of booking dining reservations, making FastPass+ reservations, checking in virtually and unlocking their guest room doors all with their mobile phones or MagicBands.

Now, Disney is bringing some of that technology to the Disneyland Paris resort.

In a recent update to the Disneyland Paris app guests will be able to open their guest room doors with their mobile phone. In addition, they will also have the capabilities to see menus exclusive for guests of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and book an epic moment at the Super Hero Station at the resort.

After a second lockdown this past winter, the resort was scheduled to reopen on 2 April 2021, however the French government recently imposed new restrictions – albeit limited – on 16 regions including greater Paris. Therefore, Disneyland Paris will now be closed for the foreseeable future.

At this time Disney has not announced whether Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel resort will reopen when the resort opens or on a separate date.
