Adventures by Disney cancels trips through the end of February 2021

Last month, Adventures by Disney announced all trips though the end of January 2021 would be suspended. Now, the speciality Disney travel company has announced that extension will run through the end of February.

According to the Adventures by Disney website, “As we work towards resuming operations, Adventures by Disney has made the decision to suspend all departures through Sunday, February 28, 2021. Adventures by Disney will contact all impacted Guests or their Travel Agents with updated information and options.”

In the notice, Disney states they are currently planning to move forward with any trip that is not listed. “However, we will continue to make adjustments as necessary and will notify Guests immediately should there be changes to their itinerary.”

As of now, the first available trips are scheduled for March of next year. Currently there are six bookable destinations: Australia – first departure March 14; Costa Rica – first departure March 6; New Zealand – first departure October 18; South Africa – first departure March 13; Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia – first departure March 29.

The sixth trip listed is for travel to the Disneyland Resort and Southern California with March 14 as the first departure date. However, given the recent spike in COVID-19 cases coupled with health experts predicting this current outbreak will be far worse than the initial wave and the current state California is in – that date seems highly unlikely.
