To mark the 20th Anniversary of the opening of Tokyo DisneySea Park, The Oriental Land Company announced the park will present a new nighttime show, “Believe! Sea of Dreams” to debut in fiscal year 2021. According to the press release, fiscal year 2021 covers 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.

The new show replaces the recently closed “Fantasmic!”, which closed on 28 February, due to the pandemic, a month ahead of its originally schedule closing. Construction to replace the show has been ongoing despite the park’s closure.

“Believe! Sea of Dreams” is a “grand, breath-taking performance [that] will remind Guests of the importance of having a dream and always believing in it.” The show will run 20-minutes in the Mediterranean Harbor.
The show will be sponsored by NTT Docomo Inc., the predominant mobile phone operator in Japan. The name is officially an abbreviation of the phrase, “do communications over the mobile network”, and is also from a compound word dokomo, meaning “everywhere” in Japanese.
